Episode Eight – Surprise Buttsecks

May 3, 2008 – 4:34 pm

This is an episode filled with tales of drunken exploits designed to make your hosts look really bad. But mainly me. McNasty looks bad all by himself.

Wow, so I thought I had the Skype issues worked out with the new recording software. Looks like I was wrong, so new software for next week’s show. This is a really short version due to a few factors. First, I didn’t confirm a guest ahead of time. Second, the new recording software messed up the sync so Cham & McNasty were answering questions a minute or so after I asked and then I was talking on top of them. Third, GTA IV, so cut me some fucking slack, bitches. But yeah, next week should be back on track with normalcy.

Episode Seven – So Long and Thanks For All the Fish

April 26, 2008 – 7:59 pm

Yet more technical difficulties plague us but I think I’ve more or less gotten a handle on them. Figures I’d get them sorted out and finally get around to registering a proper domain for the show just as this happens. Anyway, the SNS interview is missing the second segment and the five questions because something happened during compression that made us sound like the Chipmunks.

I wish I could say more, but with pending litigation that’s not really advisable at this point. So, as a friend of mine used to say, its been real and its been fun but it hasn’t been real fun.

Episode Six – Dead By Dawn (For Real This Time)

April 20, 2008 – 5:59 pm

This is an episode filled with tales of drunken exploits designed to make your hosts look really bad. But mainly me. McNasty looks bad all by himself.

Some ugly, ugly audio problems plagued us, and I’m not just talking about McNasty being on the show. Hopefully got the kinks worked out of Skype for next week, but only time will tell. Anyway, we ramble for a while and now I’m gonna eat some lunch.

Episode Five – The Cake is a Lie, but the Surprise at the End Isn’t

April 9, 2008 – 1:34 am

This is an episode filled with tales of drunken exploits designed to make your hosts look really bad. But mainly me. McNasty looks bad all by himself.

This week was supposed to be a shortened podcast with a nice talk about Revolutions per Minute with Joe Boxer but it ended up being much longer than that. If you’re wondering why, reread the first sentence of this post. But the result was an entertaining (hopefully) talk with everyone’s favorite Commish, Joe Boxer.

Episode Four – Nevermind the Unplugged In Utero By the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah

April 5, 2008 – 9:45 pm

Wow, so 14 years ago today. It really doesn’t seem like that long ago. Anyway, a couple of tribute tunes to  bookend the show filled with some Phoenix inspired music. Oh, and we talk a little bit about what’s going on in the PWA, too. Also, the show’s new co-host debuts. “Oh joy” I say in my best Droopy Dog voice.

Remember, don’t look for a regular show next Saturday, it won’t be coming until the 19th. To tide you over, we’re going to try and have a special RPM preview this week.

Oops, I thought I’d turned off comment moderation, so there were a few waiting for me to approve them. Done and done. Also made it so comments shouldn’t need to be moderated and should just appear now. Thanks for the comments so far and I’ll try to incorporate the suggestions into the show to improve it. And now, on with the show!

March 15, 2008 – 12:05 pm

Well, this is it, the very first episode of PWA Radio!

Being the first episode, I’m still figuring out how to best put things together and do editing, so please bear with me. Also, send any comments, feedback, tasty recipes to pwapodcast@gmail.com. Specifically, let me know what you thought of the segments, how the audio sounded, if the music was too long or if you’d rather have the whole song.

I’ve also submitted the podcast to iTunes, not because I think there will be any great demand for it, but because Apple insists on being jerks and only have the iPod recognize podcasts as podcasts if they are downloaded through iTunes. And me, I love the ability to pause a podcast, listen to something else, and come back to the podcast right where I left off. As soon as I hear back from Apple, I’ll post the link to subscribe through iTunes.
